Easy Pecan Caramel
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 tbsp Purely Pecans Pecan Butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook the butter until it’s lightly browned, a few minutes.
- Stir in the syrup and cook a couple more minutes, until it gets bubbly and slightly thicker.
- Stir in the pecan butter and cook another couple minutes to incorporate.
- Stir in the vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt and serve immediately. Use as a sauce for ice cream, as a topping for pies or pastries, as a dip for fresh fruit - the sky’s the limit!
