Easy Pecan Caramel

PECAN CARMEL

INGREDIENTS:


1/2 cup caramel sauce
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 tbsp Purely Pecans Pecan Butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook the butter until it’s lightly browned, a few minutes.
  2. Stir in the syrup and cook a couple more minutes, until it gets bubbly and slightly thicker.
  3. Stir in the pecan butter and cook another couple minutes to incorporate.
  4. Stir in the vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt and serve immediately. Use as a sauce for ice cream, as a topping for pies or pastries, as a dip for fresh fruit - the sky’s the limit!
